Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion (diced)
- 3 carrots (sliced)
- 3 stalks celery (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 1 cup egg noodles
- 1 crusty bread loaf
- salt
- pepper
- fresh herbs
Instructions

1Melt butter in a large pot. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 8 minutes.

2Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

3Pour in broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

4Add noodles and chicken. Cook until noodles are tender, about 8 minutes. Season to taste.

5Serve hot with sliced crusty bread for dipping.
