1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Swipe for Dinner helps paired users decide what to eat together. The App allows users to:

• Create an account and pair with a partner
• Swipe on meal options to indicate preferences
• View matched meals
• Access recipes
• Save favorite meals

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To use the App, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt unauthorized access or interference
• Reverse engineer or misuse the App
• Use bots or automated systems
• Harass or harm other users
• Upload malicious content

6. Recipe Content and Dietary Disclaimer

Recipes are provided for informational and personal use only.

You are responsible for checking ingredients for allergens or dietary restrictions. Swipe for Dinner is not responsible for allergic reactions, health issues, or adverse outcomes resulting from recipe use.

7. Intellectual Property

All App content and functionality (excluding third-party content) are owned by Swipe for Dinner and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

9. Account Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the App. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your data.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that you and your partner will agree on dinner.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swipe for Dinner is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Swipe for Dinner harmless from claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.

14. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by law. You may opt out of arbitration by contacting us within 30 days of first using the App.

15. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
