Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 4 slices cheese
- 4 burger buns
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
- lettuce
- tomato
- onion
- ketchup
- mustard
- mayo
Instructions

1Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and loosely form into balls.

2Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot.

3Place a beef ball in the pan and press flat with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.

4Cook without moving for 2-3 minutes until a nice crust forms. Flip, add cheese, and cook 1 more minute.

5Toast the buns in the pan drippings. Build your burgers with desired toppings.
